The VIP Laboratory

Headed by Dr. Paul Atchley, Professor of Psychology at the University of Kansas, the laboratory focuses on translational cognitive science with an emphasis on visual attention and perception. The lab strives todo work that engages scholarship for public impact, with projects on the effects of distraction on driving, technology on the vehicle, and how artificial and natural environments differentially affect cognition.
